Top 10 Soft Square Halo Engagement Rings

By Raymondleejewelers @raymondleejwlrs

As I’ve said before, the soft square halo is hot hot hot. This shape is perfect for brides who want the classic feel of a round brilliant center stone, but the on-trend look of a cushion shaped ring. My favorite designers do these rings in multiple styles (Verragio, Simon G., Uneek and Gabriel all rock this look!) And this setting was a huge hit this year among Instagrammers and Pinners alike. Below, the top 10 soft square halo engagement rings!

First up, this custom 3 carat cushion cut diamond was the centerpiece for a soft, micropave halo we crafted from platinum and gorgeous, bright round brilliant accent diamonds.

This Uneek two tone rose gold setting is one of my favorites from the line. I LOVE it paired with the rose gold thin stacking band, but the soft rose gold halo is the perfect touch to the engagement ring setting itself.

Simon G. knocked this infinity shank soft square halo out of the park.

This fabulous Ritani setting comes with .86 ct. of accent diamonds, it’s just begging for the perfect center stone – and you could go round or cushion!

This Simon G double halo features a smaller tight halo around the center stone, with a  larger outer cushion and a triple split shank diamond band.

This rose gold Simon G. halo was one of my favorites from fall, and I still can’t get enough of the warm, rose gold setting pictured above. Of course, it does come in yellow, white and platinum as well!

This A. Jaffe cushion halo is a sleek twist on the usual…twists, I guess. Rather than the twisted shank you often see paired with his halo shape, this one fits on a classic, clean white gold band.

This beautiful Simon G. halo features a unique shank style that mimics the horsebit motif popular in equestrian style. This picture makes it kind of hard to see, but I love the rose and pink diamond garters in the open shank.

This Ever & Ever floral inspired cushion halo is another unique spin on the style, with wide open micropave shanks and larger, shared prong accent diamonds for the halo.

Finally, this soft Uneek square is my favorite – and yours! I love Uneek’s take on this style. The curves are beautifully rounded on both inner and outer halo, and mimicked by their inimitable curved split shank diamond bands.
