In this format, in just 3 hours, the spectator gets to see what they are able to see in other longer formats of cricket.

It was officially brought into existence by Wales Cricket Board, England in the year 2003.

World's debut International Twenty20 match was organized in the year 2005.
The first Twenty20 International cricket match was organized in India in the year 2006.
And since then, India has played more than 150 Twenty20 Internationals matches so far.
