Too Late for Your Thanksgiving Travels, Probably, but Just in Time for Your Big Winter Solstice Trip.

Just one place at Newark you can eat and then not spend the whole flight wondering if you made a good choice.

Some group calling themselves the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine or (predictably) the PCRM has decided which airports serve the healthiest food.

Basic results (from ABC News):

A restaurant was rated as healthful if it served at least one low-fat, high-fiber, cholesterol-free breakfast, lunch, or dinner entrée.

Winner: Newark Liberty International Airport

Biggest Loser: San Francisco International Airport, down 19 points from last year.

Most Improved: Chicago O’Hare International Airport

Last Place: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport”

Sorry, all you travelers shuffling through Atlanta. Bring an apple.
