Pura Tanah Lot
This is probably the most famous of Bali’s seven significant Hindu temples and one of the must-see sites on the island. Its name literally means “Temple Land Sea.” It’s both a land temple and an ocean temple because Tanah Lot sits on a rocky outcrop and is only accessible during low tide. The temple becomes an isolated island when the tide comes in.
