Today's Reading: When You Fear the Lord

Fearing the Lord is the beginning of all knowledge.  Now this isn't the fear where you run in the closet because you are afraid of God.  This fear means the utmost respect because you understand that the Great I AM controls everything, even the very breath you breathe!
It's humbling to know that you can't even bat your eyelashes without HIM!  He is our everything.  So please lets remember to always reverence and respect our God! He deserves it, and when you are one that truly respects God by living a life that's pleasing to Him, He promises in his word these blessings for you:

Psalm 31: 19-20
How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you.
You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. 
You hide them in the shelter of your presence, safe from those who conspire against them.  You shelter them in your presence, far from accusing tongues.
