New Years Resolutions are for the Buffalo . . . and Wherever they Roam

Dear Ravenous Readers:
Greetings, we are starting at the very beginning - which Mrs. Von Trapp tells me is a very good place to start. I hope to highly entertain you throughout 2013 with this most witty, glorious blog. More than likely, you will probably find me ridiculously outrageous and read the blog. Either way you are here reading (no judgment) thanks!
First, I want to share with you more about the buffalo. I took the photos on a trip with my father near Fort Thompson, South Dakota in the summer of 2010. Secondly, I want to share my secret of how I am able to read all these fabulous first edition books/memoirs for free. As a staff member at the University of South Dakota, they graciously allow one to check out books from the University Library for free! My favorite is the Hot Off The Press Section, which as you guessed it has books HOTT off the press. Please enjoy this photo below by clicking it to be redirected to their twitter page.
I will be reading 53 Memoirs in 2013 and blogging about the books - starting with I'd Like to Apologize to Every Teacher I Ever Had, by Tony Danza. My blogs will take the form of a letter written to the author of the book.
I will be attempting to read memoirs published during the latter half of 2012 and all of 2013. With the help of Hot Off the Press, I am well on my way. 
Here in the Dakotas instead of dropping a shiny ball and kissing strangers, we ride horses bareback through campus rounding-up the campus cats for catnip and champagne toasts - while singing Home, Home on the Range. As it is now officially the New Year here in the Dakotas let the reading and kitty roundup begin.
