This is my first time reading the poet. The quality of writing for this series has been very high so far so I was sorely disappointed by this effort. The poems in this little collection are the ones I don't enjoy, vague images and impressions that left me cold. I didn't get what the poet was driving it and the poems left me cold. Each poem is laid out in an unusual style with large spaces between one or two words. This struck me a gimmicky and served no real purpose other than alienate me from the poems even further. Sorry, but To Make A Desert did not work for me.
