1. Find out Proper Opportunity

Do not say sorry at random otherwise it may backfire. Keep track of an appropriate time to do it. The best time is when you feel that he is now mild towards you and wants to revive the relationship but is reluctant. Your words of sorry will have great effect when he is mentally prepared for it.

2. Make an Effective Approach

When you are ready to contact your boyfriend make a friendly preamble. Talk about some topic of mutual interest so that a comfortable rapport is established. Once both of you are talking comfortably then bring the actual issue of saying sorry in the discussion.

3. Say Sorry at the Outset

Bring into discussion the cause that had led to the rift between you and your boyfriend. Say from the outset that you were sorry for what had happened on that fateful day. This opening sentence will lay down the foundation stone for further reproach. Your boyfriend will immediately come to the conclusion that you are sincere in making up the broken relationship.

4. Do not Dwell More on the Cause of Rift

Though you have to mention the cause that created quarrel between both of you, it is advisable not to prolong discussion on this issue beyond proportion. Any hot discussion on the issue will tend to spoil the efforts of reproach. Even if the discussion tends to turn bitter try to contain it skillfully.

5. End your Meeting on Reassuring Note

When both of you have discussed the issue and you have rendered your sorry, the ice would have melted between both of you. Cash this opportunity to further strengthen the relationship. Do not allow the doubts and suspicions to creep in to your relationship. Say openly that in future all the misunderstandings will be resolved with mutual consultation.
