Tips for a Content Marketing Pit Stop (infographic)

Every so often, and at least annually, a digital cleaning blitzkrieg of your marketing content is in order.

When you think about how much information you’re sending out and raking in simultaneously, it can be seriously overwhelming when you start looking in hindsight.

Let’s face it, even the most organized individuals can become online hoarders in their attempts to reach out to customers using every form of web communication one can muster.

As everything in life changes, so too must your online efforts, which means personalizing social media communications, and in general, decluttering your website and social media content.

ReachLocal came up with a great infographic to illustrate the tips and tricks for an efficient pit stop in order to get yourself back on the fast track. If you’re not familiar with the Formula 1 analogy, I’ll digress for a moment to explain:

“In motorsports, a pit stop is where a racing vehicle stops in the pits during a race for refuelling, new tires, repairs, mechanical adjustments, a driver change, or any combination of the above.”  Thanks, Wikipedia!

This infographic speaks of “spring” cleaning, but frankly, this can be applied anytime.
