*Tips, Essentials & Accessories - Bathroom Edition

By Ourbabyblog @OurBabyBlogx
You may have seen a previous post of mine talking about my tips and essential bits and bobs for your kitchens, well i have sampled together some ideas for your bathroom too! With affordable storage ideas from Matalan.co.uk :)

1. Heated towel railsPerfect for keeping your towels not just warm but organised, theres nothing worse than having a shower then realising you've forgotten to bring a towel with you..brrrr! That's one of the things I really dislike again getting out of the perfect bath, you have to get cold..it might be nice to even warm up your little ones towel too, obviously when they're a little older :).2. Underfloor heating?Very much a luxury! But how nice would it be to step out and automatically feel like you're putting your feet into slippers! Well, maybe not that comfortable but definitely snug!3. Non slip flooring..

now I'm a mommy with a baby on the move, I'm becoming so aware of her safety, especially when it comes to the bathroom and I know it's ibly going to make me more anxious as she figures out her feet are for standing and running around..I definitely would consider non slip flooring, obviously we rent at the moment so would have to wait till we've bought our own home, it might be a little bit dramatic but I'd rather that than possible having an injury, especially with water splashes etc..tumbled travertine tiles are suppose to be great, ive seen them used in spa's and shower rooms, they're literally put in a machine and 'tumbled' around to make the edges more rounded off and uneven, perfect for better gripping too!

4. StorageI think it's a necessity to buy some extra storage for the bathroom, you know babies and toddlers like to grab everything and anything, especially when they're teething and it's chew central! It's I important to keep shampoos and shower gels away from them, plus it keeps your bathroom more organised!5. Sticky bath matsEssential for your little one, stops them slipping around and hurting themselves! Also a bit comfier for them to sit on too! You can actually find some pretty girly ones and cute ones for your little boys too :)

Do you have any safety tips? We're starting to baby proof our house so would love to know what else we need to do! :)
