1. Hydrate - During the cooler months, you may forget about hydrating your body since you don't sweat as much when walking outside. The air actually has a tendency to dry out your skin even more during the winter months and causes my skin to become dry, flaky and red unless I really start to drink more water. Sometimes I even have soup as a great option as well. Healthy and hydrated skin starts on the inside so make sure that you are replenishing your body with water multiple times throughout the day.
Personally, I loved the Rosegold one for right now to give off a light glow but I can see myself wearing the Invested in Bronze during the summer months because of my dark completion during those months. All of these MegaGlow Body Luminizers are available at your local Walmart and all under $10 so I had to stock up on a few while I was out shopping.
I also love that this product is very build able so you can start with one application and then add another until you get the right glow you're looking for. I would suggest applying it in natural sunlight to make sure you are wanting it's true effect.
3. Choose Healthy Meals - Despite the weather being colder, it's easy pack on extra pounds you'll get upset about later but don't distress- it's all about choices! You can enjoy all the sweets you want as long as you have healthy foods throughout the day to balance it. I always keep fruits and veggies on hand to snack on because it's the first thing I see in my fridge. I also like to share it with my kids as well so they also can choose a healthy snack like cheese and crackers, carrots dipped in ranch dressing or a handful of grapes.
How are you giving yourself a natural glow this holiday season?
