Tip for Dressing Up Before Playing in the Snow

I love playing in the snow, but do you know what I hate most about playing in the snow? The moment when that little bit of snow makes it's way into your boots or on your midsection when your shirt becomes untucked from your pants. 

Yikes! That's cold! 


To prevent that happening to my kids, I actually dress them in footsie pajamas before adding more layers. Yep, that's right: footsie pjs! They work perfectly to keep out unwanted shocks from the cold snow plus they add extra warmth. 

I also add: 


  • knee high socks
  • hooded sweatshirts
  • turtlenecks
Getting that shock of cold really ruins the fun of playing in the snow, so I do all I can to keep them warm!

I should really get a pair of footsie pjs of my own now...
