Want to know what itis? Sure. I'll let you in on my secret.
To keep it light, Istay away from foundation for regular day wear, and use a tinted moisturizerinstead. The rest is pretty simple, justblack eyeliner and under eye concealer (I'm a mom, you think I get enough sleep?).That's it. Now like most ofyou, I'm loyal to a specific brand. Whenyou find something that works for you, you stick with it. For me, the best tinted moisturizer I foundis the Boots No 7 Soft and Sheer - Dark found at Target. For some reasonthough, it's like brands hate me. Iknow, sounds a little weird, but I really believe it. Every time I find something I like, somehow,it always changes. Either they changethe product, or just flat out discontinue it. Please tell me it isn't just me.
True to form, when Iwent to replenish my favorite moisturizer, there was none for darkcomplexion. First time, I figured, nobig they must have sold out. The nextweek, gee this is odd. The third time, Ihad to buy an alternative, and now I'm ticked off. Why?Um, let's see. Somehow, somewhere, someone decided theydidn't need to make tinted moisturizers for dark complexions because trying tofind an alternative was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Oh, sure tan will suffice, or how about ahybrid medium to dark? NOT.Seriously, evenpantyhose doesn't come in a medium to dark blend. Know why? No one wants their legs to be darker or lighter than the rest of theirbody, so why do you think that changes for our faces?
To add insult to injury, I later found out the dark moisturizer is now only available online.
Thanks for the inconvenience.
