You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Psalm 16:11
All around us, newspapers, TV, friends and sometimes the whole society screams out the strives we all have in our life’s, finances, family life, unemployment, terror-attacks the list goes on. But we have so many thing to celebrate, to be joyful for. But it so hard when everyone seem to complain or have something to be ungrateful for. I can read about peoples gratefulness mainly on Facebook or Instagram, sometimes when the child makes the first football goal or achieving some hard task, we seem to celebrate very good through this social medias. But ask your self when did you actually, instead of posting a picture or update, celebrated for real, I mean perhaps with as simple as an ice-cream?
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Phil 4:4
We need to start celebrating everyday, we have so many things to be grateful for, and yes do something to celebrate it. Joy is the best medicine, we need to laugh more, and this we have to experience everyday. We try to at least once a day tell on an other what we are thankful for, and yes sometimes its very hard and someday we don’t feel like it. But it is so important to remind yourself and your loved ones the promise from God “in your presence there is fullness of joy”, so if we together take time for prayer and thanking Him for all the good things in our life the principal is easy, what you feed grows and what you starve dies. This will mean that you will start to feed all good thing in your life and you will start to feel it eventually you will not give any thought to the bad things, you just leave it where it belongs, “For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matt11:30
So I encourage you today, stop and think what you can be thankful for, and celebrate it with the whole family.
