Thunderbirds Are Go

Kuato Studios and ITV Studios have announced the arrival of Thunderbirds Are Go: International Rescue. It is a game based on the popular television series. The game is available to download for free on the App Store and on Google Play.

The Thunderbirds television series has been broadcasting for many years since 1965. It follows a family of highly trained responders - International Rescue answers the distress call from their secret island base and travels around the world in minutes using their super fast Thunderbird vehicles. The series seems to attract both young and older generations of fans.

Thunderbirds are Go: International rescue is aimed at children ages 6-11 years but I do have a sneaky feeling that some dads will also enjoy this game. The game is free with optional add on purchases and starts with Virgil Tracy in the Arctic after International Rescue receives a distress call from a scientific research base. The first thing I had to do (as I am testing it out) was to fly one of the rescue vehicles to an accident point. The game is full of various missions which get more difficult as the game goes on.

The game is brand new and still being developed so at the moment the choice of characters and vehicles is limited but they will be available soon.
