I'm a fan of the author and thought Three Little Birds sounded like a good thriller. I enjoyed it a look. The meaning of the title didn't become clear to me until quite far into the book. This offers everything you'd expect from a decent thriller - fast pace, plenty of action and drama, twists and turns and excellent characters to carry the story. I liked the way the major revelations unfolded and how the full story doesn't emerge until late in the book. I had no idea what if anything connected the skull and the recent murders.
