Three women were killed when a tractor transporting a group of people toppled on Saturday in Pachchanur area of Muttur, police said.
The tractor was transporting 21 persons for a Shramadana campaign at Kottiarammula Rajamaha Vihara in Galkanda area when it overturned.
Those injured in the accident have been admitted to Muttur Hospital for treatment. Three women who died in the accident were residents of Seruvavila area.
