Before Google, Facebook and beautifully designed websites, there was this.
This was the first ever website created by CERN, the organization behind the World Wide Web (W3). It was published in 1993 after the web was made accessible to all in 1991, following Sir Tim Berners-Lee’s invention of the Web in 1989 at CERN.
CERN recently revived the original website back from the dead to cerebrate the 20th birthday of the World Wide Web, and it is now live at its originally published URL.
