MyFoxChicago: Six people were killed and at least 25 more have been wounded in shootings across the city since Friday evening.

The latest homicide happened Sunday morning in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side. Officers responding to a call of shots fired about 12:50 a.m. found a man, thought to be in his 20s, unresponsive inside a vehicle in an alley, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot twice in the neck and pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office could not immediately provide additional information.

About 6 p.m. Saturday, a 20-year-old man was shot to death in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side. Kori O. Sellers was sitting in the passenger seat with another person at the wheel of a car when someone walked up, reached into the window across the driver and fired multiple shots at Sellers, authorities said.

Sellers was shot in the chest and arm, authorities said. The driver took him to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:52 p.m.

Another South Side slaying happened Saturday morning in Englewood. William Palmer, 32, was sitting in a vehicle near his home at about 5:20 a.m. when a gunman walked up and shot him in the head, according to police and the medical examiner’s office. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:58 a.m.
