Same story out of Chicago. EVERY WEEKEND.

Paging the #BlackLivesMatter crowd: When are you going to protest the record number of shootings and homicides of your black brothers and sisters in Chicago?

From MyFoxChicago: Three men were killed and at least 32 others have been wounded in shootings across Chicago since Friday afternoon. (Don’t be surprised if the numbers go up by Monday morning.)

Late Saturday, a man was killed and a teenager was wounded in an Englewood neighborhood shooting late on the South Side, police said. The 15-year-old boy and 21-year-old man were playing basketball about 10:45 p.m. when they heard gunfire and both felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the chest and left arm and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office could not immediately confirm the fatality. The teenager suffered a gunshot wound to the left arm and later showed up at Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

About 11:40 p.m. Friday, three people were shot — one fatally — in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side. The three were shot while standing on the sidewalk in the 500 block of North Lavergne, police said.

Leander E. Winford II, 59, was shot in the right arm and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:38 a.m. Saturday, police and the medical examiner’s office said. He lived in the 2200 block of South 14th Avenue in Broadview.

A 17-year-old boy was shot in the left leg and a 32-year-old man was shot in the left arm and leg, police said. They were both taken to Stroger Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.

About two hours earlier, a 22-year-old man was fatally shot in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side. Kendall Smith, of the 11200 block of South Indiana, was standing on the sidewalk in the 11200 block of South Michigan about 9:30 p.m. when he heard gunfire and felt pain, authorities said. He suffered a gunshot wound to the torso and was taken to Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:58 p.m.

The most recent nonfatal shooting happened about 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side. The 23-year-old was outside in the 10000 block of South Vernon when two males walked up and opened fire, police said. He was shot in the right hand and taken to Christ Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized.

At least 28 other people have been shot on the South and West sides since 4 p.m. Friday.
