As much as I am working on my 'zen state of mind' people do make a dent in it every now and then and make me annoyed. Rest assured I am not mad enough to lose any sleep over it, but enough to remember and blog about it. 'Coz hey! that's what blogs are for - creating content about things that entertain and annoy you. So here goes ... things that people do that annoy are:
1. Who speak loudly (on phone or otherwise) in public places: I don't get people who thinking buses, trains, public spaces are their living room. Just the other day my husband and I were sitting in a hotel lobby and working, when suddenly a woman started shouting in to her phone. I am not exaggerating. She had her head set on and was completely unaware of how loudly she was speaking. We could hardly focus on our work till her call didn't end.
2. Who makes plans only to cancel them: Truth be told, I am secretly always happy when plans get cancelled because I am a total home body and wish to never leave. However, I have come across a fair share of people who have made plans with me at least 5 times in the past year and then cancelled them all of the five times. Why even waste energy making these plans?
3. Who message you only when they need something: It used to be "call" a decade back, but let's be real no one calls anyone any more. I bet you too have someone or the other in your life that when you see their name flash on your screen your automatic response is, "They must want something!" and they always do.

now below two are about driving in the Unites States. I know these rules do not (yet) apply in India and it's surrounding countries but I live here and this drives me nuts 4. Who drive slow in the fast lane: I do not understand why do people who do not wish to go over 20 miles an hour drive in the fastest lane and then even when they see a car approaching behind them they refuse to get out of the way. Newsflash: Get out of my way, biatch!
5. Who change lanes without giving an indicator: I am not a psychic and I cannot predict when someone is going to take an exit or decide to over take without any warning! Whenever I notice people driving without giving an indicator, I wonder if they did not learn it right? Did they not pass the driving test? Or have they forgotten the rules? Whatever the reason, it is highly inconvenient to people who drive responsibly.
6. Who are constant whiners: We all need to vent every now and then ... I get it. But there are some special kind of people who just have a way of making everything into a drama. They open their mouth and a sob story comes out. Nothing ever goes right in their life and it is obviously never their fault. This happens to be their story 24/7 for at least 6 days of the week. Sigh! I don't have enough positive energy to lend them. I maintain a ten arm distance.
