Thilini Had Spent Over Rs. 100 Mn on Two Shamans

The investigating teams of the Criminal Investigation Department has unearthed information that Thilini Priyamali in remand for large scale fraud had obtained  services of two Kattadiya’s (witch doctors) from the south for her work.

She is said to have spent Rs.100 million to Rs.150 million for their services.This information has been revealed during the questioning of the people who have allegedly become victims in Thilini’s fraudulent activities and the suspects arrested for allegedly aiding and abetting her.

The Criminal Investigation Department has found information that Thilini Priyamali had worked with a Kattadiya from Galle currently in custody for alleged child abuse and a former member of the Southern Provincial Council, who is the custodian of a devalaya in Galle Bataduwa.

A senior officer of the Criminal Investigation Department said that further investigations will be conducted in this regard.
