Adam writes…
Yesterday afternoon was spent in the
company of filmmaker Jon Klein working on the new promo film for the London
Walks Beatles tours. What larks!
I teamed up with David, Andy, Steve and, of course, Beatle expert Richard Porter to recreate some famous Beatle moments for the camera.
Here are a few behind-the-scenes snaps and
a grab from the Abbey Road webcam...
Here's David shooting his cameo as the mad director…
Jon Klein lines up a shot with pointers from Beatle expert Richard Porter…
Richard's suit is a replica of the one worn by The Fabs on the Royal Command Performance…
From Marylebone, it's off to Abbey Road, here's filmmaker Jon in the private London Walks ultra- luxurious limo, cunningly designed to resemble the 139 bus to Golders Green…
In his own write (I'm loving Andy's "naughty" face)…
We're ready for our close-up…
The van that blocked our shot for AGES (from the Abbey Road webcam)…
And finally… we cross the road…
A splendid time this afternoon larking about with @londonbeatles & @hallett_g shooting the #Beatles @londonwalks promo film! pic.twitter.com/3lBBDIHX5r
