It's that time again - award season and you may remember the North East Blogger Awards from last year. They've returned for their second year, guaranteed to be bigger and better and today I want to ask you a favour.
Last year I was so lucky to be awarded Best Lifestyle Blog and I'm still so proud every time I look at my award. I know numbers and awards aren't everything, but it's really nice to get some recognition and appreciation from the blogging community and I do feel like I worked really hard on my blog last year, and even harder now after getting that extra boost from winning.This year the awards have a few different categories, Lifestyle covers fashion and beauty (so that's going to be a tough one to shortlist) there's Best Instablogger, which is an interesting addition, Best Looking that covers the layout, writing style and photography and of course NE Blogger of the Year.
If you enjoy reading my content here on Hello Freckles, whether you prefer the chatty lifestyle posts, the food reviews, or the beauty posts, even my (slightly rare) style posts - promise I'm working on that though, I'd absolutely love you to nominate me for Best Lifestyle Blog.
To qualify for NE Blogger of the Year, you need to feature the sponsor, Intu Metrocentre within a blog post. There's a few I've posted that feature the shopping center but the one to link in the nominations form is this Show Beauty at House of Fraser, where I headed along for a blow dry and left with some serious volume.
Whatever you choose to nominate me for; Lifestyle, Best Looking or NE Blogger of the Year, is entirely up to you. By no means would I expect anyone to nominate me for all three but I recognize that the audience reading Hello Freckles is varied and you could all have different things you (hopefully) like about my blog. Nominations are open now and close on 25th September, so you've got a few weeks to write a few words about what you like on Hello Freckles and why I'm a worthy winner! The Cosmo blog awards have made a comeback this year too and I'd love to be nominated for Best Photography. The Cosmo nominations are open until 29th September and should be submitted via the form here.
