'Come on, Mark'. I smile up at him with a hint of flirtation.

The author has become one of my favourite writers over the past few months and I'm gradually devouring her back catalogue. This is quite short as far as stories go but very enjoyable. I wish the story had been a lot longer. I was just starting to get into it and know the characters when I reached the end. A lot happens in the few pages of this story and the author does a great job of creating suspense. I liked the fact the story was inspired by an actual statue unearthed at the bottom of the ocean.
