The World Christmas Circus (Wereldkerstcircus) is back at Theater Carré for its 28th incarnation, running from 20 December, 2012 through 6 January 2013.
This year's circus promises to be the most star-studded one yet. And, as part of the theater's 125 year anniversary, one would expect no less.
Yet again, the World Christmas Circus brings the best of the best in circus performance. The circus is outdoing itself this year with no less than four Golden Clown Award winners (think, the Oscars of the circus world).
Acts also include two Silver Clown Award winners, performing sea lions from Germany, Hungarian show horses, "king of clowns" David Larible, a sixteen-member pagoda act from China, the world's top contortionist from South Africa, a flying trapeze act with a twist from North Korea, and many, many, many more.
The circus received rave reviews last year from De Telegraaf, De Volkskrant, and NRC, so this year's bigger and better version of the World Christmas Circus is certainly not one to miss.
With a little something for everyone up its sleeve, one trip to the World Christmas Circus is guaranteed to end up an annual event to ring in the holiday season, whether you choose to enjoy it with friends, family, colleagues, or your holiday date.
