The chart above reflects the views of voters as expressed in the latest USA Today / Suffolk University Poll -- done between June 11th and 15th of 1,000 registered voters nationwide, with a 3 point margin of error.
They asked those voters how they felt about the Democratic candidates -- were they excited, neutral, wished they would drop out, or had never heard of them. I just included the excited and drop out responses, because they are the only responses that show whether they like the candidates or not.
Only seven of the candidates scored higher on "excited" than on "should drop out". The other 17 candidates had a higher "should drop out" score than "excited". Those 17 candidates have a lot of work to do to become credible.
Only one candidate had over 50.7% of respondents saying they were excited -- Joe Biden (50.7%). Only two candidates had over 30% saying they should drop out -- Bill de Blasio (42,2%) and Bernie Sanders (34.6%).
