Walks barefoot on the shore sand
Letting the wind read his mind
Closes his eyes as the water gushes
Remembers all the faces he left behind

Away he goes, away he goes.

Reaches the top of the infinite greys
Smiles at the new friend, Horizon
Caffeinates his thirsty mind and soul
Nerves breaking free by the poison

Away he goes, away he goes.

Strangers now move along together
Old friends seem like the road forgotten
Arms wide open as his heart remembers
The nostalgic warmth of mother’s cotton

Away he goes, away he goes.

A confused soul with a fistful of dreams
Born to sacrifice but equally be fulfilled
Rising above and going down as the sun
One can’t stop the hearts so thrilled

You and I, aren’t we just the same?
We know this strange man all too well
