Plot: A woman believes her husband is an impostor after a brain injury. Haunted by a sinister presence and calls from someone claiming to be her real spouse, she descends into a terrifying ordeal, questioning reality and her mind’s stability.

Story: The Unraveling starts when Mary (Zanotti) and Grayson (Brooks) are involved in an accident. Mary struggles to get her memories and questions whether Grayson is the same person she married. She questions the people in her life and wonders what really happened on the night of the accident.
Mary challenges her mind and with Grayson’s support tries to find peace. However, she constantly questions things, leading her to make more drastic decisions.

The Unraveling is a horror thriller following a married woman whose life is turned upside down after an accident. She doesn’t remember everything and questions whether her husband is really her husband. It leads to her thinking there is a shadow hanging over her life.
This movie focuses on a woman whose memories are shattered in an accident. It creates a paranoia around her, as she questions what is real or not. This uses the trauma of an accident to show the lasting effects of brain damage and how it doesn’t only affect the people around you. The paranoia angle brings out the horrors and the movie does a great job of leaving you questioning what is happening. We get strong performances and a compelling story that keeps you wanting to know the truth.
