As a fairly outspoken critic of the president lately, based mainly on the three wars and Guantanamo, I really enjoyed this article. Perhaps, my personal disappointment over his failure to keep certain of his promises had blinded me to the big picture.
Respondents in 100 countries were surveying and the United States was the most popular world power at 47%. This is a roughly 14% increase in America’s global standing since the Bush administration.What's your opinion? Is there something to these popularity figures? Are they indicative of the kind of trend they suggest?
