Dancing With The Stars certainly took the magic of Disney night to max corporate synergy. Meanwhile, some top Hollywood talent are meeting with the SAG negotiations to see what’s up. Oh, I don’t know… the studios don’t want to negotiate?
12) World On Fire (PBS)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Unknown
I assumed this was a limited series the first time around, but PBS brought it back apparently without Helen hunt, and far more conversations not in English. This is a war drama with a lot of subtitles I can’t read, so much like AMC Plus’s Daryl Dixon, it is inaccessible, and therefore is…
Episode Grade: Unwatchable
11) Alias (Disney plus)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Ended
As a former fan of the show, it breaks my heart every time I have to rank this show as unwatchable because Disney hasn’t sprung for audio description here. This Jennifer Garner/JJ Abrams collaboration may never move out of this range. This was S1E4.
Episode Grade: Unwatchable
10) 10) Virgin River (Netflix)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: I’m Sure this Is Renewed
The biggest event to ever hit Virgin River really didn’t do much. It turns out Preacher’s love interest is married. Bri might be into Mike, and not go back to Brady who now is a hero. No one died. Doc’s secret is out. I’m pretty sure Muriel and the new doctor are going to fuck. Our young couple had a moment, but they got rescues by a tow truck. Mel finally is able to tell Jack what happened. Hope’s grand plan for saving the town has caused the random character introduced to oppose her to quit the show and let her be mayor again. And we did all of this without Charmaine.

9) Adventure Time (MAX)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Ended
Finn and Jake argue over whether or not someone is a bad guy, as they also are worried about the princess.
Episode Grade: B-
8) The Hardy Boys (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Final Season
The third episode almost felt like a series finale, bt it’s not. They just figured out how to get Frank back a hell of a lot quicker than I thought they would. That’s probably a spoiler, but then again, I think I just realized this show isn’t taking place in modern times. There was far too much wonder over a personal computer, and I realized no one is using cell phones.
Episode Grade: B-
7) This Fool (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Not Yet Renewed
If that’s the season finale, that’s weird. If this show doesn’t get renewed, it becomes even weirder. A fake poop attack on Mugs Not Thugs dominated the episode.
Episode Grade: B-
6) Fall of The House Of Usher (Netflix)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Limited
While the episode had a finish worth mentioning, in the second episode I still feel so disconnected from the ushers. The character development for this large ensemble is not great. Someone dies in this episode, and I honestly didn’t care. I felt like I barely knew them. I’m not even sure I know how many kids there are. I certainly couldn’t name them all. I like the Poe references, and it hurts me to slide Mike Flanagan down instead of up.

5) Star Trek: Lower Decks (Paramount Plus)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Final Season?
The crew has to rescue some humans from an alien zoo, where they meet a seemingly cute alien that turns out to want to suck their bones. I had fun with this episode.
Episode Grade: B+
4) Killing It (Peacock)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Not Yet Renewed
I still have no idea what’s going on and why this season is so bizarre and not where the first season was, but those Pitbull jokes were solid, and the jokes were great.
Episode Grade: B+
3) The Critic (Tubi)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Ended
I’m so glad I found this on Tubi. It’s a truly funny show that deserves a reboot. Just the fake little trailers they have, and movie jokes, like Indecent proposal 2, or Honey I Laminated The Kids, were funny enough to carry this episode where jay meets the wrong woman for a date.
Episode Grade: B+
2) Fleabag (Amazon)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Ended
Fleabag’s relationship with her sister is so hilariously strained, that when comprised with the relationship she has with her Dad and his new wife, made this episode extra special.

1) Good Omens (Amazon)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Not Yet Renewed
Hopefully we don’t have to wait another six years or so for another season. The season finale had a whole lot of kissing going on, but ultimately our main duo went different ways as Crowley didn’t want to be Azariell’s second in command in Heaven. Shoutout to Derek Jacobi, who was brilliant in this episode.
