From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” -Matthew 4:17
For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation. -2 Corinthians 6:2
The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. –2 Peter 3:9
When we honestly and earnestly turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and surrender our lives to him we become children of God forever led and protected by his love, grace and spirit. God leads us into the paths of righteousness. The Lord knows that we are unable to live up to his standards on our own that is why he came to save us. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. -2 Corinthians 3:18
We should, and must accept his generous and wonderful gift of salvation, it would be the most outrageous insult not to. To reject the offer of the precious gift to have a beautiful relationship with God and eternal life with him is very sad, and destructive.
If you believe that Jesus Christ came into the world as God (the son) incarnate, to save us from our sins and from being separated from God (the father) by sacrificing himself, and dying on the cross to then be buried in a tomb to three days later be resurrected-you will be saved.
If you do not give your life to Jesus while you still have time you will spend the rest of eternity in hell separated from God. The Lord loves you so much that he doesn’t want you to be forever apart from him, what loving father/parent wants to see their child divided from them only to suffer? There is absolutely no reason to forfeit Jesus’s gift as it is available to everyone who comes to him. God wants to give you peace and life with him in his never ending kingdom.
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. –Romans 10:9
But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 1 John 1:9
And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.” John 3:36
For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God. Titus 2: 11-12
The Holy Spirit’s Work Within Us
So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses. When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. –Galatians 5: 16-25
