The Tech Bloggers Round Table Event by Jumia

Okay, let me start by saying this week was awesome, why? I recently attended an event tag “ttech bloggers round table event” in Lagos, Nigeria. The awesome event was hosted by Jumia, if you must know Are you wondering who’s Jumia? Well, they are one of Nigeria’s biggest online shopping mall and they have done so wonderfully well for themselves. I’ve been to events where I speak (teach) about blogging, but to tell you the truth, this would be my first outing as a blogger to a blogger’s event… and boy, they do know how to host their guests 😉 The Tech bloggers Round Table Event by Jumia Let me tell you how it starts – to be honest, I did not plan on going to the event because of my lack of time, but Mr. Yemi Kuti who’s working for Jumia as public relation promised the event would be a blast. I took his word and I prepare for the date. The day of the event, I put on my dance business shoes and I was off to the event . The event was a showdown between the Nigerian Tech bloggers and top phone brands that are ruling the Nigerian science. The passion for mobile phones and technology was very clear in the room, right from the opening address made by the Managing Director of Jumia Nigeria (Jonathan Doerr), to the engaging, enlightening and excellent conversation that ensued. The bloggers that were there had the representatives of the mobile brands (Samsung, LG, Innjoo, Infinix, Tecno and Lenovo) on their toes as they questioned them on topics which spanned from operating system updates, priorities, affordability, expectations and more! I did have private chat with some of the mobile brands that attended the event and soon the discussion might turn for the best And before I forget, the event did give me some good ideas that I will be sharing in a practical way very soon. amma give a shout out to Miss. Bertile Guitton for anchoring such a lovely event and to my new friend Mr. Kuti Yemi for the invite Let’s talk Today’s Saturday, I don’t have the full intention to give a tutorial or drop a blogging tip, I just wanted to share with you my little experience at the bloggers round table event. But still I do have just one question to ask and it would be nice if anybody would give me his or her answer to the question.
