Tureture Village / Gulf of Papua / May 2014: This house used to be at the back part of the village but the ever-advancing tide has forced other households to move to higher ground. Now it’s at the village’s seafront, chosing to stay and refusing to give in to the onslaught of the sea (see Tureture: The Vanishing Village).
