TV News: A few big drops this week. In the world of film, Deadpool and Wolverine hits Disney plus on Tuesday, the Oscar-bait Amelia Perez hits Netflix on Wednesday, and Twisters lands on Peacock on Friday. in terms of major shows, both the next five episodes of the final season of Cobra Kai (Netflix) and the second season premiere of Silo (Apple plus), drop on Friday, while Amazon tackles James Patterson’s legendary detective in cross, which drops all eight season 1 episodes on Thursday. I believe that show has already been renewed for a second season.

TV Shows Watched: Fight Night: S1E2 (Peacock) with audio description, Bad Sisters: S1E4 (Apple Plus) with audio description, The Last Nights On Tremore beach: S1E5 (Netflix) with audio description, Elzabeth: S2E? (Paramount Plus) with audio description, and Tulsa King: S2E? (Paramount Plus) with audio description.

Podcasts: none

YouTube: The Awards Contender (Best Actor Predictions) and Perry Nimaraovv (the merry hour: Nosferatu reaction). I had to fast forward through a lot of her live stream to get to her reaction for nosferatu. the review embargo doesn’t lift until December, so she can only give general vibes, not an official score, just vibes.

Movies: the Commandate’s Shadow (MAX) with audio description, The Turnaround (Netflix) with audio description, and National Treasure: Book Of Secrets (Disney Plus) with audio description.

It is a very weird show, but I’m loving the Last Nights on Tremore Beach. i do wish the episodes were trimmed down and we just had more episodes, as each episode feels like a life choice, but the overall story is really compelling. The audio description is really great too, and the voice cast dubbing is pretty solid. After the notes I gave on Episode 4, this felt almost like a walk in the park.

Tulsa King is making some choices this season that would cause me to say “season 2 isn’t as strong”, but I still like the overall concept, and I hope Paramount continues to stick with it. Taylor Sheridan seems to be like Paramount Jesus right now, so i can’t see them axing this. Have any of his shows actually gotten cancelled before by them? He has an impressive roster of shows that are just waiting another season, or completed their runs. like, 1923 is still supposed to have one more season. At some point. Lastly, as this is originally Armistice Day, now known as Veteran’s Day, I want to thank all Veteran’s for their service. I watched a tremendous documentary with its roots heavily embedded in WWII, for which we celebrate on the 11th hour, of the 11th day, or the 11th month, this specific holiday, so while I’m not ready to fully review The Commandante’s Shadow, i do highly recommend it. It is very heavy, but on a day of remembrance, weight is not a bad thing to feel.
