TV News: Hey. remember just last week when Evil had a Series Finale? Well, now Stephen King wants a 5th Season, and some other people are joining his push. I don’t think this show gets revived, but what a hell of a public figure to have pushing your content. I wish he’d be like “Hey, this blind film critic over here. Check this dude out.” I think I’m trying to manifest a Stephen King shoutout.

TV Shows Watched: Sonny: S1E9 (Apple Plus) with audio description, Women in Blue: S1E6 (Apple plus) with audio description, The Ark: S2E5 (Peacock) with audio description, and Wyatt Earp: S1E3 (Netflix).

It’s not really audio description specific, but just me being someone who loves things. I thought the 9th episode of Sonny was the best of the series so far, and so unique and brilliant. I loved it. I felt like it was such a great way to walk us into the season finale, with all these answers, and a nice cliffhanger going into next week. But, i also wanted to praise Women in Blue for really bringing everything headed for a full circle moment as the women uncover the reasoning behind The Undresser. I think shows that remind us that not too long ago, people did not have autonomy, or freedom to truly live as their own person and could only live through their husband are really interesting concepts. Apple pumped out two shows set in two different countries at almost the same time that both carry a narrative thread about how a husband has all this control over their spouse. I’m so glad we’ve moved away from our Handmaid’s Tale way of thinking and are leaving that behind, and shows continue to remind girls today that the generations before them had to fight for their right to have a life. Great stuff happening on Apple right now.
