In the news, well, that debate that Trump was trying to make happen on FOX News has been abandoned, and he has recommitted to the ABC debate. Of course, there’s still time. I project, they will be debating Sept. 18th on Twitch moderated by top gamers. That feels oddly on brand for this year.

today, shoutouts go to two different series for two very specific reasons, instead of a full breakdown.

The first goes to Descriptive Video Works for the 5th episode of Cobra Kai this season. I thought those final two fights between Robbie and Miguel, and Sam and tori were really well described, with some technical terms in there so we could get the specificity of what punches and kicks were being thrown, and at what body parts. As immersive as it could probably be.

The second goes out to International digital Center for the Season Premiere of The umbrella Academy, but really for having a narrated recap. We don’t always get narrated recaps. A lot of shows come back and people don’t feel the need for us to understand the recap, but the streamer feels it important enough to make one to catch everyone up. Last season was nuts, and the recap was barely intelligible as is, because it is so hard to condense a full season of this show into two minutes of highlights. But, the fact there was any audio description at all was pretty awesome. It really is the little things sometimes.
