Randy Adams started the Metaverse Commerce Network, which has taken a page from the wildly successful Yuga Labs, which made the Bored Apes Yacht ClubTM, APE CoinsTM, and The OthersideTM, and made a similar structure for eCommerce in the Metaverse with Storefront NFTs, MCN CoinsTM, and their ShopaverseTM destination shopping site.
Today, they made a whitelist for 1,777 ShopaverseTM Early Access Pass NFTs, which gives their owners early access to the first shopping site in the Metaverse.
Adams imagines that the ShopaverseTM metaverse galaxy has millions of Web3 eCommerce businesses in thousands of digital twin venues around the world. The first of these venues is set to open in early September, and MCN is already building a whitelist for early access tickets, which will include a chance to win 10,000 MCN Coins, Shopaverse’s DAO voting currency and utility token.
On OpenSea, you can now buy the Genesis Edition of the MCN Storefront NFTs. The Storefront NFTs are like deeds to the Shopaverse stores, and the person who owns them can get a cut of the sales. MCN wants to fill the Shopaverse with merchants from ShopifyTM and EtsyTM. To help these merchants grow their eCommerce into the Metaverse, MCN is giving away free migration software.
Randy Adams is a businessman who has started many companies. He was the Division President of the multibillion-dollar retailer Home Shopping Network and created the first eCommerce site on the Web, the Internet Shopping Network (MCN).
