Looking back on it, the thing that still surprises me is my own reaction to it all. A TALE OF TWO CITIES

World's End is a bit different from other volumes in the series. Morpheus is a side-line character, making very infrequent appearances along his sister Death. This meant I didn't enjoy this as much as the other volumes. Morpheus and the other Endless are the reason I've found the other books so enjoyable. I was disappointed by their absence in World's End. I enjoyed the book and the various tales the infamous characters shared but not as much as I could have.
