Verdict on The Rope Curse 3
The Rope Curse 3 is a horror thriller that follows a parkour influencer facing his haunting past. It follows him working in a haunted hotel, that has a high suicide rate, with the spirits targeting him now. His family must use their knowledge of evil spirits to save him from the same fate.
This horror movie dives into the traditional beliefs that the next generation starts ignoring. It uses that to drive the story forward creating unsettling encounters with the spirits. Some moments rely on an influencer’s shaky cam that adds a few scares, while it relies more on shock value. This could easily fit into the selection with many Asian horror movies. Its use in beliefs to create the horror elevates it to the next factor in horror. While the themes of evil diving people to suicide could become difficult to watch, a great horror addition.
