Still alive. Bloody hell.
His book is a corker – leave aside the lame cracks about Jagger's willy and the tales of drunkenness and cruelty, when he writes about music he is rhapsodic. Having said that, his stuff about John Lennon being a bit of a drink and drugs lightweight kept me chuckling for days on end.
