The Review of My Isekai Life

The Review of My Isekai Life is our discussion topic of today’s article. We will try to explain and understand completely the topic. Since our last Isekai (another world) review ago. The genre seems to be flourishing more than ever. Let us learn about The Review of My Isekai Life.

This week, we’re examining the My Isekai Life television series, which exemplifies the genre’s expanding tendency in which a lone character exploits ludicrous cheat powers to live life at their own speed.

The My Isekai Life:

  • The Second Character Class and Developed the World’s, Strongest Sage
  • Revroot Studios
  • Square Enix, GREE Entertainment, and Pony Canyon are the publishers
  • Keisuke Kojima is the filmmaker
  • HIDIVE is the translation
  • Date of debut: July 4, 2022

Yuji Sano is a young man living life without showing any emotion. When he receives an offer to visit a dream world on his computer. He unintentionally accepts it and flees his dreary job at a black corporation. Let us learn about The Review of My Isekai Life.

Further, he begins in the new world with the Monster Tamer job, which first appears to be feeble, but he actually arose in a sage’s private library. Yuji is able to inherit the sage’s magical abilities. Making him a special being with the dual class of Monster Tamer and Sage. Let us learn about The Review of My Isekai Life.

Additionally, Yuji’s accidental involvement with The Blue Moon of Salvation, a covert organization that seems to be planning destruction, leads to the series’ primary conflict. But as Yuji runs into them, he realizes there’s more going on.

Yuji’s adorable slime buddies, which he may utilize as spies, give him the power to battle. In addition, Yuji has the ability to summon creatures to use as a starting point for spells. He can manage conflicts creatively thanks to this combination, frequently without his adversaries realizing it was him.

There is a reason why the protagonist in isekai series is typically an underappreciated corporate slacker; this pattern is not new. Yuji is a relatable everyman who may project upon. Yet this makes him uninteresting to listen to. Although he is polite, his main responsibility is to put facts for the spectator into context.

Given how oversaturated the isekai genre is and how many books in it never receive an anime adaptation or, worse still. It cancelled after only a few chapters, it’s crucial for an isekai narrative to stand out. By attempting to capitalize on the monster-taming isekai subgenre. My Isekai Life may be hoping to replicate the unexpected success of By the Grace of the Gods.

While it’s not as stiff as Way of the Househusband in certain battle sequences, the animation in the series does leave much to be desired. Some action scenes consist only of the camera sweeping over the fight. However, My Isekai Life deserves praise for not employing shoddy 3D for several of its creatures.

Chiaki Kobayashi, a young voice actor who made his name in 2019 as the heartless mercenary Askeladd in the first season of Vinland Saga, provides the voice of Yuji. Hikaru Tono, who voices the slimes, is the series’ true star. Her endearing voice brightens the programme and contrasts with Yuji’s sombre narration.

Tono is a voice actor who has just recently begun, in 2018, around four years ago. She frequently provides Tomari Seto’s voice in the Cardfight franchise. And most of her recent work has supporting parts.

In the end, My Isekai Life is slightly superior to your standard lax isekai. Compared to your standard cosy isekai, like By the Grace of the Gods, which I’ve previously discussed in the review, this series strives to be a little more action-oriented.

My Isekai Life makes an effort to distinguish out by adding a bit more action, but it never quite matches the intensity of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime or I’m a Spider, So What? My Isekai Life, on the other hand, fills this unpleasant void where it resides between subgenres. Fans of isekai will enjoy it, but there are other alternatives if you prefer a programme that is more relaxed or one that is more action-packed.

If you enjoy isekai, give it a go, but if your backlog of anime shows signs of being rather full, you’d be excused for skipping this one. I used a personal account to access HIDIVE and watch My Isekai Life. More details on Niche Gamer’s review/ethics policy.
