Verdict on The Railway Children Return

The Railway Children Return is an adventure drama following three children sent to a country village away from the city during World War II. They settle quickly and get involved in protecting a young soldier hiding from soldiers searching for him.

This is one of the most famous novels in England, following the children doing the right thing during war. In this version, we get the added racial tension toward the black soldier. This does hit the chords you would imagine for the story and shows the humanity the children have through a terrifying time. The movie has great performances from the young cast, as we see their determination to escape the horrors of war.

Final ThoughtsThe Railway Children Return is a nice story about children finding the best in a terrible time.
