The Purpose of Beyond Highbrow

“Do I contradict myself? So be it. I’m large. I contain multitudes.”

– Walt Whitman

“The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function.”

– F. Scott Fitzgerald

This is what I am trying to get you guys to do.

I do not like hypocrisy, but I do contradict myself, and that’s ok. For instance, I bash Hillary Clinton endlessly on here, and frankly I absolutely hate Hillary Clinton and I equally despise her triangulating husband.

Nevertheless, I am supporting her candidacy for President and I urge all of my readers to vote for her if you live in a close state or maybe even if you don’t. I will probably vote for Jill Stein because Hillary will win California anyway. I always vote lesser of two evils no mater and I have hated most of the Presidential candidates that I have voted for. It’s just that I hated their opponents vastly more. When I go to vote, it is always a choice between someone I hate and someone I really , really hate. In that case, I always vote for he person who I merely hate.
