Bring on the drugs, sex and Rock N Roll.
After almost two years since their 2010 début Light Me Up, The Pretty Reckless are back with new material.
The band released “Kill Me,” the lead single from their untitled upcoming album, on Dec. 11.
The track opens with an acoustic melody: “every day I wake up, every day I wake up alone.”
Launching into a hard-hitting beat, the song comes with a disclaimer: “Let me open up the discussion with I’m not impressed with any mother fuckin‘ word I say.”
Delving into familiar territory, the track tells of drugs, bars and backseat antics, a savior, suicide, and a monotonous downward spiral.
