The Playlist: September

If you've been reading my blog for a while you'll know I'm a huge Fall Out Boy fan, so when they announced their latest single 'Centuries' I couldn't click preorder quick enough. I love it! Patrick's voice is so good and there's some serious high notes I wouldn't even dare to attempt reaching! Let's have another UK tour soon...please?

Like Torches are a band I've been a huge fan of since November last year. We saw them support Yellowcard in Manchester and they blew me away, even with their acoustic set! We saw them again recently and they're just so good live, every note is exactly how it sounds on the album. They made an announcement earlier in the week about their second album and I'm really excited to hear it next year!Yellowcard seem to feature on a regular basis in these playlist posts. I do my best to avoid repeating myself but sometimes I can't help it! They keep releasing new tracks from their album 'Lift A Sail' and everything sounds so good. They're taking a slightly new direction but I really like what I've heard so far. You need to hear 'One Bedroom' at the very least!I actually saw A Day To Remember back in my sixth form days when they played at Newcastle Uni. Tickets for their next UK tour went on sale recently and we quickly snapped up a pair. I've been listening back to some of their stuff and Common Courtesy, their latest album is so good. I'm also so pleased that Lower Than Atlantis have been announced as their support band. What've you been listening to this month?
