*The Perfect Winter Coat*

Coat : Dorothy Perkins / Boots : Dorothy Perkins
I sprawled the world wide web for months in the hope of finding the 'perfect winter coat'. But, it just never happened. I was starting to get disheartened, and began to think 'I'm just going to have to spend the winter freezing my ass bottom off.' So, i prepared myself for the bitterly cold months ahead. Fortunately, I am thankful to say that won't be happening! Whilst on my little venture to London last week, I had a little time spare before i met with Maria for the Motel Rocks event! I was just about to pass Dorothy Perkins on Tottenham court road, when i thought 'Ooooh it may be worth a look'! I'm a fan of the stores already, but never expected that right in front of my eyes would be 'The one'. (Excuse the pun). Basically, If i could choose all the things i wanted in a coat it would be; Dark coloured, button up, flared skirt, peter pan collar, thigh length & faux fur. So this is just one big, snuggly bundle of utter perfection.
Now I had the coat, I needed the boots. I already own a lovely pair of heeled chelsea boots from Soyoushoes, but lets be honest, heels & little grip really are not practical in snow & ice! Especially when you live in the middle of nowhere, in a place that 1000ft of snow each year is inevitable. (Okay, that was a huge exaggeration, but you get the point, right?) I own many pairs of wellies because of where i live! But I wanted something prettier (and shorter) for my little adventures into town! Yet again I ended up in Dorothy Perkins and stumbled across these little leopard print beauties! Before even looking at the price, i noticed there were 2 pairs left IN MY SIZE! and was even more excited when i got to the till to find out they were reduced to just £17 (with student discount) They were meant to be - obviously? Unfortunately they are not on sale on line, but they currently have a 30% offer so i reccomend checking them out!
I'd love to know where any of you girlies got your winter coats from! Also, what do you think of this background setting? As it was a lovely day i thought i'd attempt some photo's in my garden! Much prettier than my bedroom wall i think?! x x x
