Though it's not always necessary to write about events that have happened to you, writing about your life can certainly allow you to work through things, and it's way cheaper than therapy.

Pick one moment or "scene" from your life where you wish you would have acted differently or had the perfect comeback. Now, write this scene how you wish it would have happened. Do you feel better?
