The Pants Balance

Oopsies.

Cutting's always been a favorite activity of mine from a very early age actually when it started with cutting all my barbie doll's hair, and my scarves and obviously paper and stuff. I don't remember anymore. However even though it's always been activity on the top of the list, I never said I was any good at it (see the picture above). Ha ha, no, I'm not that bad of a cutter, this is just a very time-saving way of showing you how the outfit can be mixed & will look like rather than taking 2 separate pictures. Boh-ring I must tell you amigos. This is so much more effective especially when you have no imagination and you have to cover that one side of the jeans in order to be able to imagine the other one. Isn't that just fun?
Shirt - Van Laack, Jeans - Levi's, Pumps - Zara, Sunglasses - Chanel Being in such a summer vibe/mood/feeling.. everything and anything you want to call it, I again went for a light outfit where my Lennon's couldn't just go missing because they add the right finish to the outfit. It seems like a small thing, but hell no, it affects the overall effect of the outfit a lot. It's like if I wore brown dog print socks in those pumps. Not that I don't like the socks & pumps combo, but this just wouldn't feel right for a summer outfit. Plus matching the color. It wouldn't look like a fashion match mainly, it would just look like I had no tights and desperately cold feet, that's what it is. Keep that for home peeps. Back to the jeans creation (and don't worry I did cut them both the same length hopefully right after the photo was taken) in overall I do think that both the shorts and the Bermudas match well with the shirt&pumps. The longer version creates more of a city outfit again and not necessarily a summer one, whereas the shorts are a definite where's-the-beach calling outfit making me think of summer and the freedom and the sun again. Ahh 3 more weeks, 3 more weeks. If I was to wear it as shorts (which I'm not going to have to because the jeans are cut off), I would go for different shoes to make it more casual and really put that summer vibe onto it. Oh Lola Cruz sandals, where are youuu?
