Verdict on The Out-Laws

The Out-Laws is an action comedy following a mild-mannered bank manager who learns his in-laws are criminals. However, what starts out as an awkward set of interactions, leads to them needing to work together to clear their debts.

This is an action comedy that could have been a lot funnier with the source material. The core story is solid and original giving us an idea we could laugh along with. Sadly, the jokes drag the movie right down, everything is put in place for a joke that misses over a line that could make an impact. Everything seems to be some form of a sex joke that feels awkward more than funny. Pierce Brosnan is the best thing about the movie even if he just the angry new father in law.

Where to Watch: The Out-Laws is available to watch on Netflix.

Final Thoughts The Out-Laws has a great concept but lazy jokes.
